1. Review notes for setting Columns with a line in between.
2. Set your page layout with 3 or 4 columns with lines between
3. You may choose your orientation and your margins
4. Copy and paste your DDAP content into your document
5. Add images and Clipart to your file.
6. Your newsletter should look as professional as possible (It will be shown to Mr. Haldeman).

EQ - How do I use columns to create a newsletter?

1.  Access any major news network's website (New York TImes, Washington Post, ABCnews.com, MSNBC.com, etc.)
2.  Choose an article depicting the news about Osama Bin Laden
3.  Summarize the article in writing (Tell what happened, in order, in your own words, without opinion)
4.  Analyze the article in writing (What do you think this means for the U.S., the world, and you as a world citizen?)
5.  Use your understanding of the Ribbon and find the Columns Command
6.  Format your summary and analysis using 2 columns with a line between
7.  Insert images to enhance the content of your newsletter
8.  Save As:   DDAP 8
